For centuries Japan has been a leader of innovation in the knitting world. We created this series to introduce our audience to some of Japan's amazing stitch work and pay homage to the influence their culture has had on knitting.
This delightful Shōga pattern creates a beautiful baby blanket and is wonderfully therapeutic to knit, with every alternate row worked in simple knit or purl stitches.
Please note: We recommend using Oi Merino yarns or similar when knitting this blanket.
