The Hiraeth Shawl

The Hiraeth Shawl is the ultimate designer piece that exudes simple style and comfort From the moment we saw this in Laine's beautiful book 52 Weeks of Shawls we knew we had to make it.
There's alot of beautiful yarn in this one to wrap yourself up in. The work is predominately garter stitch, broken up with three panels of simple lace. You cast on the widest edge and decrease along one side to give shape.

What does Hiraeth mean?
