The manufactured from a very hard rubber compound and has a groove cut into the face of the disc. This is specifically used for sharpening the inside of the hook on hoof knives. It is designed to be attached to an existing bench grinder, but may need a bush insert depending on the diameter of the shaft on the grinder. Used in conjunction with the flap wheel and cottonpath disc as part of a complete knife sharpening routine.
