Losing someone. The stormy cloud of the soul engulfs the living. Amidst the buzzing life all you want to do is to look back, to see his face again.

On this painting a woman is in an unremarkable everyday position of looking back meanwhile there is a cloud of strong, clashing, vivid cloud of emotions surrounding her.

I painted desire, loss, memories of happiness.

The idea took years in general for the whole series. These paintings have these same basic symbolism, emotions surrounding us like a cloud or aura, and each stands for a different one. This one is about missing another person. Specifically, for me, my little lost son.
