Modern Blunt Nose Pig. the scots gaelic for a Log. In Old Norse it means to Blaze. This modern pig design is a versatile and exceptionally fun longboard and has been my go to board for the past 2 years. Fast and loose off the tail, locked in for pockety nose rides and able to handle a wide range of conditions but really excels on a fast point break. Wide point way back maximise manoeuvrability off the rear third with all apexes meeting under feet to create a beautiful rolling ball bearing feel. The blunt nose creates a stable platform for nose riding despite the narrower than normal cockpit up front, which in turn reduces swing weight keeping this board feeling lively, responsive and locked in for more critical sections. Best paired with a 4-A template for a strong all rounder or your favourite pivot design for a more classic whippy noserider.
