New Zealand Jade Roimata Wayne Costar Jade Carver

This pendant is carved as a teardrop or Roimata from a very beautiful New Zealand jade.

It is a lovely dark green with a mottled pattern.

This jade comes from a wee creek behind Hokitika which produced some lovely and quite rare jades. It was found by a friend of mine and he was generous enough to part with half of the stone.

This striking pendant is 9cm high and 2.1cm widest.

The cord has sliding knots to allow adjustment to suit.
