The familiar Swan Plant for attracting Monarch Butterflies.
Prefers moderate moisture, as well as sandy, well-drained soil and full sun. Hardy, grows in most garden soils but the better it is fed the better it grows.
Suitable for pot culture, but may need staking.
It must be noted that this plant is poisonous if ingested, so should be planted out of the reach of young children.
