This product works like a thermoplastic but has the excellent advantage of being completely biodegradable. 25% biodegrades at 90 days, while 100% biodegrades within 2 years.

Fun fact, the first thing to biodegrade is the non-toxic resin. The material which takes the longest to biodegrade is the actual cotton mesh.

It provides excellent ventilation, has variable rigidity, is re-useable and remouldable. X-Lite is the only splinting and casting material made from a cotton base impregnated with a non-toxic, safe polymer. This polymer is Polycaprolactone (PCL) a non-toxic biocompatible and biodegradable material.

X-Lite Plus Starter Kit includes 2 rolls of X-Lite Plus black rolls and a roll of black edging tape. (black x-lite plus rolls are 15cm x 1.8 meters. Edging tape is 25mm x 4 meters)
