- 4.00mm circular needle (60cm length), or the size necessary to achieve correct gauge
- Wool needle for finishing Gauge

22 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch, worked on 4.00mm needles. To create a 13cm × 13cm tension swatch, cast on 28 stitches using 4.00mm needles and work 40 rows in stocking stitch before casting off loosely.
