April Cardigan
The a timeless V-neck cardigan worked seamlessly from the top down. The yoke is thoughtfully constructed in sections: beginning with shoulder shaping worked back and forth, moving into sleeve increases, and finishing with classic raglan increases. At the same time, increases along the front edges shape the elegant V-neckline.
Once the body is complete, stitches are picked up to work a neat ribbed button band along the fronts and neckline. The sleeves are worked in the round, making this a satisfying and logical knit with a beautifully polished finish.
This pattern is ideal if you enjoy garments with structure and flow, and it works particularly well in soft yarns that benefit from drape and lightness.
