Maggie Cardigan - Petite Knit
The Maggie Cardigan is a timeless, lightweight V-neck cardigan worked from the top down with clean shaping and a beautifully smooth finish. You begin by working the back yoke flat with increases, then shape each shoulder from stitches picked up along the top of the yoke. Stitches are picked up along the shoulders to continue the yoke, and the body is then worked flat on a circular needle.
The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round, and the cardigan is finished with tidy front plackets and a neat neckline. It’s a soft, wearable everyday cardigan with an elegant, classic fit. Sizing & Fit

You can knit the Maggie Cardigan in either: Option A — DK-weight luxury fibre (single strand)
Cashmere, merino–cashmere blends, or similarly soft yarns that knit to 23 sts × 32 rows on 3.5 mm.
This option creates a smooth, luxe fabric with beautiful drape. Option B — Light fingering or 4-ply yarn held together with laceweight mohair
This combination gives a soft halo and a light, airy feel while still meeting gauge.
Look for yarn that:
comfortably achieves 23 sts × 32 rows = 10 cm on 3.5 mm
has a smooth, even texture for clean fabric
suits lightweight cardigans
