Weekend Sweater
The a relaxed, oversized jumper designed for comfort, ease, and that effortless “throw-it-on" feel. It’s worked from the top down, making it easy to customise length and sleeves as you go.
Construction begins with the back yoke, shaped using short rows to create a gentle shoulder slope. Each shoulder is then worked separately before being joined to form the front yoke. Once the yoke is complete, the body is joined and worked in the round to the hem. Sleeves are picked up around the armholes and worked down in the round, and the ribbed neckline is finished last.
The result is a beautifully balanced sweater with a modern oversized fit and thoughtful shaping — cosy, wearable, and ideal for everyday knitting.
