"Classic Super Tuscan blend of 40% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 20% Sangiovese. It opens with an inviting bouquet of spice, smoke, cedar, cloves and ripe dark berries, layered with dried herbs & a touch of earth. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, it delivers waves of ripe plum, blackberry and a touch of chocolate, aged 12 months in a combination of large barrels & barriques to weave in just the right amount of oak complexity. This is a big wine with a long finish, with supple tannins contributing to a smooth, elegant texture."

The Piccini "Collezione Privata" (Italian for "Private Collection") has been meticulously curated by Mario Piccini himself. Following maceration, the wine is aged for 12 months in a combination of large barrels, barriques, and second and third passage tonneaux, with specific barrels reserved for the Sangiovese and barriques and tonneaux for the international grapes. The result is a harmonious and well-structured wine with rich complexity. 40% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 20% Sangiovese.
