The Red Rabbit

A singular creation carved from a single piece of wood, Conejo No. 105 embodies fertility, abundance, and intuitive knowledge - qualities long associated with the rabbit (tochtli) in Zapotec tradition.

With its steady gaze, this rabbit holds presence. Its surface is adorned with hand-painted codices, grecas, and three-dimensional motifs - each inspired by a dream the artist had. Every mark is intentional, echoing layers of ancestral meaning and personal vision.
