After commissioning custom diamond bands to fit her engagement ring, this special customer came to us looking to remodel her family's heirloom ruby and diamond ring.

She wanted to move away from a bezel setting to a claw setting style ring. She mentioned in particular that she has an affinity with the number "23" and that her and her partner recently returned from Lake Como in Italy, where he proposed.

It was only natural for us to take in these important details to fuse into her new ring design. What we came up with was a garden party style ring, adding new diamonds to achieve the unique but balanced asymmetrical design. The icing on the cake was that it featured a total of 23 claws.
