Allison Roe signed portrait from New York Marathon

New Zealander Allison Roe won both the Boston and New York City marathons in one year -1981. She ran so spectacularly in her Asics Tiger shoes; seen by millions of viewers, that she was suddenly one of the most admired sportswomen in the world. Her time in the New York marathon set a new world record. That same year back home, she went on to win the Halberg New Zealand Sportsperson of the Year award.

So this is a great find. Signed by Allison herself it is an important piece of sports memorabilia.
