Original watercolour art works by Ruth Weston

Here is an interesting collection of original art I stumbled across, but haven't yet had time to properly research. When I saw them they immediately took my eye.

These are water colours on paper or card, by Ruth Weston, a New Zealand Artist. They date from the 1980's.

Most are A3 in size and appear come from a folio of the artists own collection. Some have a manilla backing.

The florals are bright, colourful and demonstrate the artists skill.

There is an illustration of Lake Tarawera; a really interesting seated nude portrait, and a larger portrait of a woman measuring 455mm by 385mm, with a hand written title of "Emma" with a floral painting on the verso.

They would look great framed individually, or maybe kept in a folio as a floral set, and I might just get around to that myself!

In the meantime, here they are:

- the floral and still life A3 sized paintings are all available at $50 each unframed. The still life eggplant and grape pieces have light foxing.
- the seated nude, unframed, A3 $100
- "Emma" is available unframed, $150

Condition is Good to VG.
