The Space Shuttle Action Book - a pop up delight!

This pop up triumph was published in 1983 and features Columbia on the cover.

Columbia was the first of five orbiters built, first launched on November 12 1981. It flew 28 missions over a massive 22 years, before the tragic events of February 2003, when the old craft burnt up, killing its crew of seven upon reentry after its damaged heat resistant tiles failed.

This cool book has 12 full colour pages, with thirteen amazing card board pop up elements.

Most elements still pop instantly even today, the odd one needs a little coaxing to bring it to life!
