12" 110W Poly Hi-Fi Woofer 8 Ohm

A 12 inch (305mm) high quality woofer drive unit at a excellent price! This speaker features a vented pole piece and a polypropylene cone with rubber surround. The woofer is suitable as a replacement driver in older hi-fi speaker brands such as Pioneer, Sansui, Kenwood and for sub woofer cabinets or for new custom builds. We especially like the flat style dust cap in the centre of the cone which delivers a smoother frequency response in the 2-3kHz range (compared to the usual dome shape which tends to produce a spike at those frequencies) meaning the sound of the crossover to the tweeter is sweeter.
