Tarakihi Fillets Frozen

AVAILABILITY Year-round, but more often in summer.
EATING Tarakihi is a medium-firm fish, suitable for most cooking methods. Our Tarakihi fillets are frozen free-flow in 1kg bags, or layer-packed into larger 2kg or 5kg boxes.
STORING Store in the freezer until you're ready to use it. It's best defrosted in the fridge. If you're short on time, pop fillets into a sealed bag and submerge in water that's a bit cooler than room temperature. Change the water every 20-30 minutes and weight the fish down so it's fully submerged in the water (not bobbing about).
