2022, Domaine de la Vougeraie, BÂTARD-MONTRACHET, Grand Cru

The 2022 Btard-Montrachet Grand Cru is composed on the nose, nicely focused with subtle crushed stone aromas filtering through the red apple and pear fruit, a little petrichor here. The palate is well-balanced with fine acidity, quite crisp and powerful, though I need to see more precision and nervosité manifest on the finish to warrant a higher score. 91-93 Neal Martin, Vinous.
