The harvest finished here in Les Porlottes. Bright mid purple with concentration and energy on the nose, a velvety and violet scented Chambolle. Surprising (for the vintage) and delightful intensity, this looks first rate and joyously accessible Drink from 2029-2035.

Aromas of sweet raspberries, cherries and blood orange introduce the 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Village, a medium-bodied, pure and supple wine that's lively and melting, with juicy acids and a saline finish.

A wonderfully fresh and ripe nose speaks primarily cool red berries, spice and a pretty floral top note. There is a lovely sense of volume and punch to the supple and delicious flavours that flash surprisingly good power on the impressively long bitter pit fruit-inflected finish where the only nit is a touch of warmth.
