2024, Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret, CLOS DE VOUGEOT, Grand Cru

Cras et Petits Vougeots blended – about 0.2 ha of each – but not enough for separate cuvées this year…Perfumed nose of crushed red fruit and flowers. Hmm – this is beautifully textured again and melts over the palate, holding, holding. A wine of subtlety and finesse, but also good up front concentration. Ultra finesse – it will be great…50% new oak.
