2021, Domaine Chandon de Briailles, CORTON-BRESSANDES Grand Cru

From four parcels comprising 1.5-hectares, the 2021 Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru has a harmonious bouquet with dark plum, licorice and hints of menthol. This blossoms in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins framing the dusky, black fruit laced with white pepper, thyme and bay leaf. Very persistent, this is an excellent Corton-Bressandes. 93-95 Neal Martin, Vinous.
