2023, Domaine de la Vougeraie, CHARDONNAY, 'Terres de Famille'

The 2023 Bourgogne Blanc Terre de Famille has a straightforward grapefruit- and melon-scented nose. The palate is soft on the entry with tropical tones of passion fruit and melon, nicely rounded through the easy-drinking finish. 85 Neal Martin, Vinous (2024).

From the plateau of Chaux and below Volnay. In bottle since July. Pale lemon colour, a light chardonnay nose, quite exuberant on the palate, a very good fruit acid balance with body and persistence. 88 Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy (2024).
