2024, Maison Benjamin Leroux, BOURGOGNE Rouge
Mostly sourced from below Pommard and Volnay, with some Monthelie grapes. A medium ruby red. Abundant cherries on the nose. Quite perfumed even on the palate, with a firmer structure behind. This has been racked to tank. Drink from 2027-2029.
86-88 Jasper Morris MW
The 2024 Bourgogne Rouge, which comes from the Côte de Beaune, offers light cranberry and crushed strawberry scents, just a little disjointed at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet core of red fruit.
84-86 Neal Martin.
