2022, Domaine Marquis d'Angerville, MEURSAULT, 1er cru, 'Santenots'

The 2022 Meursault Santenots 1er Cru had quite a lot of reduction on the nose when I tasted it, so the aromatics are challenging to read. The palate is medium-bodied with modest depth, attractive orange rind and quince notes. Perhaps, like the Bourgogne Chardonnay, I am seeking a little more nervosité on the finish. As such, I would broach this after a couple of years. 87-89 Neal Martin, Vinous (2023).
