2022, Maison Morey-Blanc, VOLNAY, 1er Cru, 'Taillepieds'

There are just two barrels of the 2022 Volnay Les Taillepieds 1er Cru. I must admit that I discerned a bit of oxidation on the aromatics in my glass and the palate flirted with a little volatility. This was a surprise after the svelte and composed Pommard Grands Epenots, so I will not assess this. Neal Martin, Vinous (2023).
