2024, Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret, VOSNE-ROMANÉE, Village
Lots of parcels making up around 2 hectares of vines; Violettes being the largest part but there’s also Genevrières; Aux Réas and a small part of Vigneux
A good scale of aroma, the oak is relatively present. Extra sweetness and a lovely fluidity to the flavours again slowly fading into a core that holds really well, and not just a core, the breadth impresses – here slightly spiced. That’s going to be a lovely wine – and it seems to have a properly great finish.
