Tomintoul 'Old Ballantruan' 50%

Angus Dundee's Old Ballantruan Single Malt Scotch Whisky takes its name from an exceptionally pure and natural water source, the Ballantruan spring. Unusual for the Speyside region, Old Ballantruan is a heavily peated single malt with a distinctively rich, sweet, creamy and campfire smoke flavour profile. This is in contrast to sea-influenced Islay peated malts.

the Ballantruan Spring and heavily peated malted barely, Old Ballantruan is matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels.

A unique single malt displaying typical Speyside characteristics such as floral, fruity and creamy notes which are beautifully balanced with a camp-fire smoke.
