Glen Elgin 'Cadenhead' 12 years old 46%

This 12 year old Glen Elgin has been finished in a parcel of Palo Cortato Sherry casks, imparting a sweet and fruity quality to the spirit. On the nose there are aromas of maple bacon, juicy red apples and rock salt. On the palate there are notes of toasted almonds, poached pears in red wine and rich honey, finishing off with strawberry and cream sweets, pomegranate and cranberries.
