Another one of Alastair Walker's creations, this Inchgower whisky was given a final maturation (known as a 'finish') of almost 5 years in casks that previously held the famous Sicilian fortified wine Marsala. Fruity and tangy to start with notes of chewy strawberry candies and red wine, there is there distillery's creamy signature of marascapone or clotted cream with sweet cereals.

Distilled at Dailuaine in 2008 and matured for 16 years in total, this is initially fruity and floral followed by waves of dense mocha, raisins and toffee. Notes of coffee liqueur and raw sugar join an earthy and robust chocolate flavour, with a rush of clove oil and freshly cracked pepper. Finished in a Pedro Ximenez ex-sherry cask for 2 years and 9 months.

Alastair Walker is no stranger to the Benriach distillery, having worked alongside his father who owned it from 2004-2016. This release spent its final 5 and a half years in an ex-Madeira hogshead, a wood that compliments Benriach's very fruity style. Overflowing with notes of peach, pineapple and banana, it builds on spicy toasted oak and honey-roasted nuts in the finish.

This 12 year old from the Glentauches distillery is a cracking example of American oak maturation, with a final 4 year finish in a virgin oak barrel. With a highly concentrated flavour of coconut, rum baba and foamy banana sweets, the new wood shows its distinctive influence. Initially quite spicy, the sweet intensity of the cask becomes vanilla'd and rich with creme brulee and Demerara sugar.

After an initial 8 years of maturation, this single cask of Tullibardine was re-racked into a virgin American oak cask for its final 4 years of maturation. Balancing sweet and savoury notes, this Tullibardine has notes of toasted oak, salted caramel and cashew nuts. Richly sweet and viscous, it is reminiscent of butterscotch sauce and warm cinnamon spiced buns.
