A brand new 12 year old single-cask verison of the smash-hit 'Wormtub' whisky, chosen from an undisclosed Speyside distillery that uses traditional wormtub style condensers to create a heavier, more complex spirit. Batch 5 offers lashings of sherry cask flavours, with sticky-sweet dried fruits, baking spices and candied orange to start, with a well-aged Christmas cake (with plenty of walnuts & almonds) flavour that carries on throughout, finishing with a hint of of beef jerky adding to the whiskies robust, weighty quality.
