Strathmill 'Flora & Fauna' 12 years old 43%

Strathmill is a seldom seen distillery with the 'Flora and Fauna' release being the only distillery bottling. The nose is clean and quite malty, think porride, toasted muesli, ale and hops. there are some underlying sweet fruit notes and buttered brioche. The maltiness and ale quality continues on through the palate, alongside hints of herbs and lingering citrus. Finishing with lashings of chocolate.
