Glen Garioch 'Finn Thomson' 36 years old 45.2%

This expression is a wonderful example of an older style of Glen Garioch which has been lost to time. Hailing from a period where the distillery utilised floor malting, peated malt and coal fired stills, there is a gentle smoky character to the spirit, as well as good weight and and a waxy and oily quality. 36 years of maturation has softened the peat significantly, with just a gentle whisper present, alongside noted of roasted nuts, sult cured meats and brown butter.
