Mortlach 'Signatory' 100 Proof 11 years old 57.1%

The latest release in Signatory's excellent 100 Proof series includes this Mortlach, distilled in 2013 and matured for 11 years. A rich flavour of stewed dried fruits can be found, with vanilla filled apricot tarts and malt bread drizzled with honey. Umami (savoury) and nutty flavours come come through the palate, with dried fruits and toasted spices to finish.
