Blended Malt 'Thompson Bros x Campervan' Aged over 8 years 46.7%

A fun and quirky blended malt from Thompson Bros, this expression showcases a range of malt whiskies married together in a pair of ex Campervan brewery casks. One of the casks is an ex Australian fortified Riesling Cask, used for aging a pale ale, and the other is an ex Imperial Stout Cask. The nose is light and fruity, with wafts of overripe fruits, followed by notes of ambrosia. There is a waxy texture on the palate, with notes of citrus and home baked biscuits. Finishing with sweet raspberry jam, dried coconut, more grapefruit and a slightly mineralic edge.
