Diamond 'Cadenhead' Rum 12 years old 55%

Diamond distillery in Guyana dates back to 1670 and is home to the last operational wooden stills in the world. This bottling from Cadenhead is a 12 year old single cask expression, bottled at 55%. The nose is initially green, with aromas of pine needles, and menthol sweets alongiside red bananas. On the palate there are notes of red grapes, bakewell tart and almonds, with a finish of aged leather, star anise and aniseed.
